3 Food 4 U joined Working Well earlier this year. Pesh Kapasiawala, his staff and volunteers provide free groceries, clothes and essentials without assessment or referral to anyone that needs it, which also reduces food, household essentials and clothing going to landfill, saving the environment and feeding the community.
We always appreciate new volunteers to help deliver our vital service.
Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year, and what a week they have had this week!
A visit by The Pearly Queen on Tuesday, celebrating our Chigwell Row 2nd Anniversary on Wed, The Royal Carol Service on Thursday. And today a visit by Barry Hearn OBE. Such a down to earth gentleman, he took the time to chat to all our service user and volunteers, and presented Terry Barnard and Carol Tarrier with well deserved certificates of appreciation award.
We have a special person attending everyday next week too from the North Pole with lots of goodies, bring your kids for free presents generously donated by Teresa Watts’ (our Patron and Pearly Queen) Christmas Present Appeal.
