MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) England Training is an internationally recognised training course, designed to teach people how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill-health and feel confident enough to guide someone to appropriate support.  The training has recently been updated with a bigger emphasis on supporting mental health in the workplace in a changing working environment, taking into consideration the effects of the pandemic and cost of living crisis.

Embedding MHFA training within any organisation or community also encourages people to talk more freely about mental health, reducing stigma and creating a more positive culture. The training has also recently been updated to be more inclusive and focused on increased training around starting difficult conversations and MHFAider self care. As part of the new training MHFAiders can access the MHFA App, which will provide them with 24/7 support.

To date, the Working Well team have trained 2000+ staff in Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Awareness.

“The course gave a very good overview of the issues. I enjoyed the relaxed teaching style with the mix of PowerPoint videos and interactive elements. The trainer was very professional and friendly”
