Access to Work support for employers and employees
Access to Work can help you get or stay in work if you have a physical or mental health condition or disability.
The support you get will depend on your needs. Through Access to Work, you can apply for:
- a grant to help pay for practical support with your work
- support with managing your mental health at work
- money to pay for communication support at job interviews
Whether you are an employee who would like additional support, or an employer who wants to support an employee, you can access the Access to Work scheme run the Department of Work and Pensions. It’s a free service and there are lots of downloadable resources available.
Trained Mental Health First Aiders may also want to signpost to this service as well.
